FARM STORE AND PYO
The farm store and PYO were originally started in the 1970s’. We now grow over twenty varieties of apples and pears, as well as plums, damsons, strawberries, raspberries, black and red currants and vegetables.

The PYO year begins in May with asparagus and moves on to strawberries, raspberries, peas and beans. We grow a wide range of vegetables including lettuces and sweet corn. Early autumn brings plums, apples, pumpkins and blackberries. We have our own cold stores that allow us to keep our apples and pears until the spring. Throughout the winter and into the spring we also harvest our own cabbages, cauliflowers, broccoli, leeks and other vegetables that are all available in our farm shop.
Our new farm store is open 7 days a week, from 10a.m. – 5p.m. We stock a good range of seasonal vegetables and are trying a range of mainly British cheese. We have discovered an excellent local butcher who is supplying us with locally sourced meat. We use our own fruit to make traditional jams, conserves, chutney, pies and puddings. In addition we stock local products such as honey, apple juice and fruit ice creams.
